the site's history:

During a trip to the Los Angeles area in 1998, I visited Ron's grave. I'd always felt that Ron was a hero, and I'd always been angered by the fact that he was pushed to the back burner in the media. While sitting next to his headstone, I thought about what I could do to help place some focus on Ron. I knew that his family was working to make sure Ron was remembered, but I felt I should do something too. So, in October of 1998, this site was born. It was first hosted at Angelfire.com, moved to Yahoo! Geocities in 1999, and finally got its own domain on June 07, 2005.

disclaimer:
  • I am not, nor do I ever claim to be, a relative of the Goldman, Glass, Rufo, or Brown families.
  • Emails sent to me via the address found throughout this site reach only me, not the Goldman family.
  • I did not have the honor of knowing Ron Goldman.
  • I am simply a person who feels that Ron was a hero. He died trying to save someone's life, and because of the so-called "Trial of the Century," and the "celebrity" status of the defendant (and indirect celebrity of the other victim), he is ignored far too often. Even if he hadn't died trying to save a life, he still shouldn't be forgotten. Far too often, focus is placed on certain victims of a tragedy, and the whole picture is lost.
  • This site is not about death, it is about life. You will never find crime scene photos (or descriptions), gossip, or anything along those lines here.
  • Statements made by site visitors in the forum do not neccessarily reflect my views (unless, of course, I am the author of a message there).
  • I hold a great respect for Ron, as well as his family and friends, and would never want to cause them any more pain than they already suffer. With that in mind, if any of you spot something here you feel shouldn't be, please feel free to bring it to my attention.
  • This place is simply my way of trying to honor Ron's memory by sharing what I know about him, and giving examples of what a remarkable young man he was.
  • All quotes and stories come from either the phenominal book, His Name Is Ron: Our Search For Justice by the Family of Ron Goldman with William and Marilyn Hoffer, or interviews with family and friends that I have read or seen on television.

I hope you enjoy your visit here, and that you will gain a better understanding of who Ron Goldman was, why I created this site, and why he deserves to be taken off of the back burner.

Thank you and God bless,
