You will always be in the hearts of those who love you.
I’m sorry I only think to post here on June 12 and July 2. I’m sorry the content hasn’t been updated in ages.
Most of all, I’m sorry this site exists at all. It shouldn’t have to.
Yet, here we are, 19 years after your death, and to many people, you’re still “the waiter,” or the “…and her friend” tacked on the end of a sentence.
It’s not fair.
It’s not right.
And I’m sorry.
Rest in a type of peace your killer will never experience. Bless your sweet soul.
Happy birthday, Ron. You would’ve been 44 today.
It hurts to think what you could be by this point: a husband, father to the child you wanted so much to have, owner of the nightclub you envisioned. It’s heartbreaking.
Thinking of you and yours today.
I wanted to share this link to Kim Goldman’s blog about this 18th “anniversary.”
It’s hard to believe, but it’s been 18 years now since Ron was stolen away.
Let us never forget the sacrifice he made in an attempt to save a life.
I feel I should mention the passing of Det. Phillip Vannatter. However, rather than writing a blog of my own, I will direct you to the following article:
Rest in peace, sir.
I hope you enjoy your stay at RememberRon.net. My hope is the new WordPress blog format will make updating much easier, allowing for a more active (and interactive) site.
